Celene is Mira Health's AI-powered companion that helps you practise what you work on in therapy — between sessions, with your psychologist staying informed and in control.
Celene is built around the professional obligations you already work within, so it fits your practice rather than asking you to work around it.
Designed around the APS guidance on AI in psychological practice and your AHPRA obligations: informed consent, clinician control and transparent records.
Celene doesn't diagnose, assess or recommend treatment. It asks questions and reflects. Clinical judgement stays entirely with you.
Crisis language immediately directs clients to Lifeline (13 11 14) and 000. Acute risk goes to emergency services, never to your after-hours inbox.
Activated by you, working only on the goals and homework you set. An adjunct to your care, not a replacement for it.
Celene, Mira Health's between-session companion, works alongside your psychologist, never instead of them. Every interaction is designed to reinforce the goals your psychologist has set.
Celene is activated by your treating psychologist as part of your care plan. They set the therapeutic goals and homework that Celene helps you practise between sessions.
Between appointments, Celene helps you reflect on homework, practise techniques, and stay connected to your therapy goals — using a conversational, Socratic approach grounded in evidence-based frameworks.
Before your next session, your psychologist receives a structured pre-session summary — themes, homework reflections, engagement patterns, and clinical flags — so your appointment time goes further.
We're building Celene with registered psychologists, not for them. Your clinical judgement stays central — Celene increases your capacity without adding to your workload.
We're inviting registered psychologists to help shape Celene from the ground up. As an early clinical partner, you'll influence how the product works — ensuring it meets real practice needs.
Celene doesn't operate in a black box. Before each appointment, your psychologist receives a clear, structured summary of between-session activity — so they can see what their client has been working on, how they've engaged, and anything that needs clinical attention.
Psychologists stay in control. Clients feel supported. Appointment time goes further.

Mira Health was founded by Ferg, a psychologist with eight years of experience in technology consulting. The idea grew from a simple observation: the most important therapeutic work often happens between sessions — practising skills, reflecting on insights, building new habits — but that's exactly when clients have the least support.
Psychologists assign homework because it works. The evidence is clear that between-session engagement improves outcomes. But follow-through drops without structure and reinforcement, and clinicians have no scalable way to support that work between fortnightly appointments.
Celene, our first product, is designed to bridge that gap — not by replacing the psychologist's role, but by increasing their capacity. A clinician-supervised AI companion that helps clients stay engaged with their therapy goals, and gives psychologists a clear picture of what happened between sessions through structured pre-session summaries.
We're building Celene with input from registered psychologists across Australia and are currently forming our clinical advisory board. If you're a practitioner interested in shaping how this works, we'd welcome your perspective.
